The Creative Calm Calendar sums up my idea of what 'Creative Calm Mumma' is all about.
Finding time to get creative, making time for yourself and practising gratitude as a way of keeping calm.

So what does it consist of...??
Each month has the beginnings of a doodle mandala, which acts as a prompt to get you started...cause starting is usually the hardest part. Your part is to add to it in any which way that you want...
Then there's a creative kick start to get you to creating.
These are easy, simple and with very little resources needed. The most complicated being some paint. But if you have a child I'm hoping you'll have access to a lil paint. These are not creative starters to enable you to create the next masterpiece, they are a prompt for you to let go, play, and explore! Please, please let go of perfection here.
Then there's the 'Me Moments' space to create a list of the things you love to do to help you relax a little. Schedule them in, and try your darnedest to DO them! These can range from things like 'sitting outside with my cuppa once a day', buying your favourite magazine, to booking a massage at a local spa.
And lastly record the 'Magical Moments' of the month, to help you see the positive when things feel rather less than. It's also a neat way to help remember any milestones that may occur (such as your child's growth and development).
Oh yeah. And there's the calendar dates to help you remember what day it is! ..Handy hey ;)
Are ya keen to get creative??
Some gorgeous finished works from the 2016 Calendar:
I'm in love with my Creative Calm Calendar. I enjoy creating, but sometimes finding a starting point becomes a block. Having a doodle to kick me off has inspired me to get creative without any pressure on an outcome. Thanks for the creative boost!
